Four MCC Student-Athletes Qualify for WIAA Boys Cross Country State Meet
William Herrmann (Reagan High School), Max Klassen (Rufus King High School), William Krochalk (Reagan High School), and Logan Zeise (Rufus King High School) will represent the Milwaukee City Conference at the WIAA boys cross country state meet at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, all four student-athletes advanced through their respective sectional meets.
- Logan Zeise: 16.08.4 (5th of 71 runners at the Wauwatosa East sectional).
- Max Klassen: 16.17.0 (6th of 71 runners at the Wauwatosa East sectional).
- William Krochalk: 17.14.10 (6th of 74 runners at the Racine Case sectional).
- William Herrmann: 17.21.30 (7th of 74 runners at the Racine Case sectional).
Zeise, Klassen, Krochalk, and Herrmann were also four of the top five finishers at the MCC cross country championship at Jackson Park on Oct. 19. All four significantly improved their times in the sectional meets.
Among the 50 Division 1 individual runners competing at the state meet, Zeise is the only freshman to qualify.
