Jessiah Collins (Hamilton High School) and Kaleb Colbert (Golda Meir School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 24-30.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Collins led the Wildcats to a 71-51 home win over Reagan, totaling 46 points on 20-40 shooting. Collins, a sophomore, is now averaging 32.3 points through three games.

Colbert posted three straight strong performances as Golda Meir kicked off non-conference play with a road win at Brown Deer and a 1-1 split in the Mosinee Thanksgiving Classic against Lakeland (win) and Mosinee (loss). For the week, Colbert averaged 22.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game, highlighted by 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists against Brown Deer, the program’s first-ever win over the Falcons.

This week, the Owls will host two Milwaukee City Conference games at home: Carmen Northwest on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and Vincent on Friday, Dec. 6.
