Rufus King's Perry & Reagan's Hitz Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (Oct. 21)
Reece Perry (Rufus King High School) and Ezra Hitz (Reagan High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19.
Perry converted all five extra points, as well as his lone field goal attempt, in Rufus King’s Richardson Division-clinching victory against Marshall at Jimmy Banks Memorial Stadium. For the season, Perry finished 4-8 on field goal attempts and 37-39 extra points.
Rufus King earned a five seed in the WIAA football postseason, and will play four seed De Pere on the road on Friday, Oct. 25.
Hitz carried the ball 18 times in Reagan’s 52-28 win over Obama last week, totaling 182 yards and three touchdowns. Hitz has topped 100 rushing yards in three of his last four games, and is sitting on 586 yards and six touchdowns for the season.
Reagan, a three seed in the WIAA football postseason, will host six seed Sheboygan North on Friday, Oct. 25 at South Stadium. Purchase your digital tickets here!
