Rudy Baker (Washington High School) and Eloise Rorabeck (Rufus King High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 15-21.

Baker ran the ball 14 times for 287 yards and three touchdowns in the Purgolders’ big win over Vincent on Friday, Sept. 20 at Vincent Stadium. Washington is now 3-0 in the MCC Blackbourn Division, with a week 6 date against North Division on deck this Thursday. Tickets for the contest are available here.

Rorabeck led the charge for Rufus King against South Milwaukee on Monday, Sept. 19, winning her no. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-3. Rorabeck, a junior, captured all-conference honors in each of her first two seasons (first team doubles in 2022-23 and first team singles in 2023-24).
